only 19 days until we leave for Sudan! This will be another exciting adventure as we reunite with our beloved family in Sudan. We will be staying in Yei until January 12 and then we will make the trek back to the States. Titus is going for his first time. We are so excited for him to get to experience the culture and we are excited for him to meet all his awaiting friends! Everything that can be done logistically is done, visas, tickets, shots, hotels, etc. Now we are in that waiting period where you still have soo much to do but you cant do any of it until the last week! So all of you in the DFW area, we might we calling you in for help that last week!Vernon has finals next week and Titus and I are going to MO to see family and friends before our departure.Here are some prayer request and info you might want to know in way of praying for our upcoming Journey.
- People going: Rachelle Pichardo, Vernon, Amber and Titus Burger, Megan Daniels and Mike Elkins (and for a short stay Dr. Kelly)
- Mike, Megan and Dr. Kelly will be leaving for Liberia TOMMORROW! so pray for there stay there and there travel into Uganda to meet up with us.
- Pray for Titus that he will somehow enjoy the flights! haha!
- Praise GOD each team members money came in in FULL for this journey! amen!
- Pray for our visits with family members before we leave. That they would be comforted while we are gone.
- Pray for Vernon during his finals that he would be able to focus on them.
