Jan 3rd update!! From the Team

Hey all!!! things are going great here the team is well and Vern and I have been working with Bishop Taban while the girls have taken on a project of painting the new clinic before they leave for Morobo.

Vernon has also been spending time with a 61 year Sudanese man named Enoch. His wisdom is invaluable and Vernon is working with him to possibly write a book here for the future generations to learn from their history.

As for myself I have gained a new fishing partner in Titus as our room is located right next to the Yei river. We took an adventure the other day about 50 yards down river to where they wash clothes and I have to say how much fun it is to just see everything so new through the eyes of a 2 1/2 year old.

It was soooo good to hear/see from you! What joy you all bring to my heart! Can't even imagine the joy your bring to our Lord. Mike- I agree--it's so uplifting to look through the eyes of a child. Sounds like God is in control-WHEW!
You're consistently in my prayers.
Megan- I'll be at the airport on the 11th. Love to all of you-especially the widows & orphans.

OH-I forgot (imagine that). Please be sure to take pictures of the artwork the girls do at the clinic. I'm sure it will be EXCELLENT. If possible, please get a picture of Bishop Tabon, Ann Grace, Vernon, Amber & Titus together. It would mean alot! Thanks--Mom/Grandma/Birdie

Wow! We weren't expecting any more news this soon -- thanks, Mike! Yei seems like quite the happening place - what with gigantic lizards, diminutive fishermen, murals going up, documentaries being made, ministries to SO many....God is certainly at work through all of you. - Could you please let Robin know that we understand that it may be difficult for her to contact us after you leave? We think she will be in Arua the last part of the month and would hope to hear from her by then, at least. We send our m.c. our love. - God Bless! Safe travels!! - Joel & Sharon

We will be praying for continued success in all you are doing during the remainder of your time there and also for safe and uneventful travel home! Love you all!
